2011 Wine Dinner

Tthe third annual St Andrew's Hospital Foundation Wine Dinner was held on Thursday 29th September at the Italian Centre, in Carrington Street again.

 

The Dinner is held in conjunction with the Foundation's major sponsor, Taylors Wines.

Chef Peter Kudler created a delicious 4 course menu for the Foundation, with each course complementing the premium wines, selected from the Taylors portfolio.

Guests enjoyed wines from the exclusive gold medal St Andrews range, including the St Andrews Reisling 2007, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon and the award-winning Jaraman Pinot Noir.

Adam Eggins, Chief Winemaker from Taylors Wines, entertained the crowd, as he drew on his years of experience in the wine making industry, regaling his wealth of knowledge and humorous insights, as he reviewed and discussed each wine.

The evening was a feast for the senses, and provided a fantastic opportunity to indulge in great food, award winning wine, whilst supporting the Foundation of St Andrew's Hospital.

2009 Argentinian Degustation Dinner

Thank you to all those that attended and supported the inaugural St Andrew's Hospital Foundation, Argentinian Degustation Dinner. (Wednesday 9th September 2009).

A great cross section of the extensive St Andrew's community was represented, including, the Hospital Governor, members of the Board, Doctors, Specialists, and industry stakeholders.

Taylors Wines Chief Winemaker, Adam Eggins, kept the crowd entertained and engaged with his wealth of wine and industry knowledge and good humour. The evening wouldn't have been the success it was without Adam and the support from the Taylors Wines team.

Special thanks and acknowledgement to Julia, Chef Norberto, and the team from Buenos Aires Brasserie, for their hard work and organisation on the night. The team ensured the evening ran smoothly and effortlessly, with guests feeling well looked after and taken care of.

The combination of delicious Argentinian food flavours and spices, combined with the award winning Taylors wines, resulted in a range of feast of taste sensations for the senses and palates to enjoy.
