Post Graduate Nursing Scholarships

The Foundation is committed in supporting the education and training of St Andrew’s Hospital Nursing staff.

A way of showing its commitment has been to offer Post Graduate Nursing Scholarships to staff. The Scholarships are now in their 5th year of administration and management by the Foundation and continue to offer the opportunity to staff to participate and enhance their professional development .

The aim of the scholarships is to support the nursing staff at St Andrew’s by enabling the participant to develop and further their knowledge and skills through Post Graduate studies.

The knowledge that the participant gains can be drawn upon and used at St Andrew’s Hospital, which ultimately, can benefit patient care and the wider community.

Previous Scholarship recipients have included current and past St Andrew’s Hospital nursing staff, and these are as follows: Lauren Holland, Judy Aldam, Jane Arnold, Emily Segui, Anne Sherlock, Karen Shannon, Le-Anne Talbot, Anne Munro and Kerene Ryan.
